Are you interested in learning meditation?

I have been meditating for 16 years now, and it is part of my daily life. I love to be able to crawl inside myself and work on ridding myself of all of the "garbage" that I feel like we collect as we go about our daily lives. I compare it to cleaning out your files on your computer and emptying your recycle bin. In fact, I developed a meditation that is a lot like this procedure! More on that later.

Right now, to begin meditating, you will need to find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. You will need to be in this place for at least 15-20 minutes, every day. Preferrably at the same time every day. For now, leave all music off, as you will need your complete concentration. All I want you to do at this time is to close your eyes, take in a deep breathe to the count of 4, hold it for the count of four, and release it. Take your breath in through your nose and release it out your mouth. Practice doing this, and you will feel yourself becoming calm and relaxed. Try to ease your mind of any worries you might have and put them out of the way at the this time. Just practice this for now, as you will need this skill to meditate. I will be back with your next lesson very soon!
